Rebates
Robies has been a leader in the Cape marketplace for years when it comes to rebates. We take great pride in our knowledge and understanding of every possible rebate program available to our customers. Our sales staff designs and selects systems based not only on the best fit for the situation but also based on which systems will bring the highest rebate awards for the customer. Our focus and sales approach is to look at the customer’s net cost after rebates. Often the top tier, premium level of equipment is the most affordable package for the customer because of the net cost to the customer after rebates.
There are two primary sources of rebates for products offered by Robies. The first is Mass Save®, the second is Carrier®.
Mass Save Rebates
Mass Save is an initiative sponsored by Massachusetts’s electric and natural gas service providers, such as Eversource, National Grid, Cape Light Compact and more. The purpose of Mass Save is to encourage the use of energy efficiency measures in our homes such as efficient HVAC equipment, efficient windows and doors, air sealing and insulation. For Robies customers, this means that generous rebates are available for heat pumps, furnaces, water heaters, boilers, and thermostats.
Inflation Reduction Act Tax Credits
The Federal Inflation Reduction Act offers tax credits to homeowners on new air conditioning and heating systems equal to 30% of installation costs up to $1,200. For heat pumps, the credits are even greater: up to $2000. Additionally, there is an “all-electric” program offering up to $8000 in tax credits for high-efficiency heat pumps. And a geothermal program with a tax credit of up to 30% of installation costs. Note: rebates vary depending on the efficiency level of the equipment chosen.
Carrier Rebates
Carrier leads the industry with their equipment rebates. The more efficient the systems, the higher the rebates from Carrier. Robies customers not only receive generous and significant rebates from Carrier corporate, but also from our local New England Carrier distributor, DCNE – Distributor Corporation of New England. By selecting Carrier’s top tier of equipment – the Infinity Series – a homeowner can receive up to $2,000 in rebates from Carrier.
Robies Rebate Process
For the staff at Robies, understanding rebates and educating our customers is one of the most important aspects of our sales process. Our sales staff assess our customer’s home with rebates in mind, working to ensure that we maximize the potential rebates a homeowner can receive. Once the installation is complete, our support staff submits some rebates entirely for our customers while others we fill out and prepare the application process, with the homeowner simply having to sign and mail the packet.
Financing
Robies offers financing through the Mass Save program for eligible systems. This program offers 84 month (7 years) zero percent financing. Robies is highly experienced with the program and leads our customers through the process.
For systems that are not eligible for the zero percent Mass save financing, Robies offers excellent financing options through Synchrony Financial, including some zero percent options.
